Legislation & Actions:

  • H.J. Res. 75 – Signed into law
    • Rep. Goldman led the H.J. Res. 75, which repealed several burdensome Biden-era regulations on commercial refrigerators that would have forced manufacturers and small businesses by requiring costly equipment redesigns and manufacturing upgrades.
  • Homeowner Energy Freedom Act Passed the U.S. House
    • Rep. Goldman is leading the Homeowner Energy Freedom Act, which repeals costly green energy mandates imposed on home appliances and new construction, reducing regulatory burdens that have driven up housing costs for American families.
  • Streamlining Permitting to Enable Efficient Deployment (S.P.E.E.D.) for Broadband Infrastructure ActPassed the House Energy and Commerce Committee
    • Rep. Goldman’s broadband infrastructure policies—outlined in the Streamlining Permitting to Enable Efficient Deployment (S.P.E.E.D.) for Broadband Infrastructure Act—were incorporated into the Proportional Reviews for Broadband Deployment Act as part of a broader legislative package. These reforms eliminated duplicative red tape, streamlining project deployment and expanding internet access in rural areas and on military bases.
  • Zero-Based Regulatory Budgeting to Unleash American Energy Act – Introduced in the U.S. House and U.S. Senate
    • Rep. Goldman is partnering with Senator Jim Risch to lead the Zero-Based Regulatory Budgeting to Unleash American Energy Act. This bill would codify President Trump’s executive order requiring sunset clauses on energy regulations, ensuring that deregulation is the enduring federal standard. Burdensome federal government red tape has restricted energy production and increased the cost of energy for Americans.
  • LIT (Liberating Incandescent Technology Act of 2025) Act – Introduced in the U.S. House and U.S. Senate
    • Rep. Goldman is partnering with Senator Mike Lee to lead the LIT Act. This bill ends federal green energy restrictions on incandescent light bulbs, restores consumer choice, and eliminates government overreach into one of the most basic household decisions.
