Goldman, Wagner, Huizenga, Lawler, Wilson, and Gottheimer Introduce Resolution Supporting Expansion of Abraham Accords

November 25, 2025

WASHINGTON, DC — Reps. Craig Goldman (TX‑12), Ann Wagner (MO-2), Bill Huizenga (MI-4), Mike Lawler (NY‑17), Rep. Joe Wilson (SC-2), and Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) introduced a bipartisan resolution supporting the expansion of the Abraham Accords to include Kazakhstan.

“Thanks to the strong leadership of President Trump, Kazakhstan has joined the Abraham Accords – a significant step that will strengthen regional stability and bolster support for Israel among Arab states,” said Congressman Craig Goldman. “Alongside my congressional colleagues, I am proud to support President Trump’s continued efforts to advance U.S. national security by promoting peace around the world.”

“Kazakhstan joining the Abraham Accords sends a clear message: friendship between Israel, the United States, and Arab and Muslim-majority nations remains a force for peace. Now more than ever, strong ties between Israel and Muslim-majority partners—whether for diplomatic, economic, or security reasons—are necessary to defend against the chaos and conflict that Iran, Russia, and China are spreading around the world. Congress’s bipartisan support for expanding and deepening the Abraham Accords is ironclad, and I hope this is just the first of many new countries that President Trump welcomes into the Accords,” said Congresswoman Ann Wagner.

“I’m grateful to lead this resolution, Kazakhstan is an important partner of the U.S. and a strong ally to increase the flow of critical minerals to the U.S,” said Congressman Wilson.

Kazakhstan joining the Abraham Accords is an encouraging step toward further expanding and strengthening the Accords,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer. "Broadening Israel’s relationships with additional countries helps make America, our service members stationed in the region, and our allies safer.”
