Legislation & Actions:

  • H.J. Res. 75 – Signed into Law
    • Rep. Goldman co-sponsored H.J. Res. 75, which repealed the natural gas tax imposed by the Biden Administration. The harmful gas tax policy increased energy costs for energy companies, thereby discouraging domestic energy production. As a result of the tax on gas production, Americans paid more for gas at the pump.
  • Zero-Based Regulatory Budgeting to Unleash American Energy Act – Introduced in the U.S. House and U.S. Senate
    • Rep. Goldman is partnering with Senator Jim Risch to lead the Zero-Based Regulatory Budgeting to Unleash American Energy Act. This bill would codify President Trump’s executive order requiring sunset clauses on energy regulations, ensuring that deregulation is the enduring federal standard. Repealing costly federal government red tape will unleash domestic energy production and lower energy costs for Americans.
  • Working Families Tax Cut – Signed into law
    • Rep. Goldman voted for the Working Families Tax Cut, which restored onshore oil and gas lease sales to boost domestic energy production, eliminate billions in subsidies for green energy initiatives, refill America's strategic energy reserves, and rescind the Biden Administration's electric vehicle mandates.
  • Protecting American Energy Production ActPassed the U.S. House
    • Rep. Goldman is co-sponsoring the Protecting American Energy Production Act to prevent presidents from unilaterally banning hydraulic fracturing without congressional approval. Congress retains authority over fracking regulation, which has been vital to American energy independence.
  • Cutting LNG Bunkering Red Tape Act – Introduced into the U.S. House
    • Rep. Goldman is co-sponsoring the Cutting LNG Bunkering Red Tape Act to help promote the United States exportation of liquefied natural gas (LNG). By repealing onerous red tape, this bill increases LNG exports, advances U.S. economic development, lowers domestic energy prices, and ensures U.S. energy security.
  • Ending Intermittent Energy Subsidies Act of 2025 – Introduced into the U.S. House
    • Rep. Goldman is co-sponsoring the Ending Intermittent Energy Subsidies Act of 2025 to phase out federal tax and investment credits for ineffective green energy electricity production.
  • Unlocking our Domestic LNG Potential Act of 2025 – Introduced into the U.S. House
    • Rep. Goldman is co-sponsoring the Unlocking our Domestic LNG Potential Act of 2025 to repeal unnecessary restrictions on the export of natural gas under the Natural Gas Act and promote free trade of natural gas.
  • Promoting Domestic Energy Production Act – Introduced into the U.S. House
    • Rep. Goldman is co-sponsoring the Promoting Domestic Energy Production Act to help increase domestic energy production, lower energy costs, reinforce job growth, and advance economic development.
